Oklahoma Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services

 

As research backs up, mental health and anxiety are major issues facing Generation Z, and turning to unhealthy vices like drinking, vaping, and illegal drug use to cope is on the rise. The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services was looking for a way to better connect with college students. Lindsey + Asp researched and developed best practices for reaching Gen Z around this topic and developed a series of event activations for the brands the Own Your Own Power and 988 Oklahoma Mental Health Campaigns targeted specifically at college students. The campaign activations will take place around graduation and finals times in Spring 2023, a time of high stress for the target audience. These activations will become a template for the brand to utilize at college campuses across the state.


OU Admissions & Recruitment

How do we better connect with this new generation of prospective students? How do we tell the OU story in a way youth will engage with socially? Those were some of the questions OU’s admissions & recruitment department of Enrollment Communications. Lindsey + Asp, an agency full of digital content creators, strategists, and researchers set to work.

After completing a thorough analysis of OU’s prospective student social media efforts and their @Go2OU social media profiles, and additionally conducting an in-depth competitor analysis, developed a series of best practices for engaging this audience.

After those recommendations, L+A now develops social media reels for the @Go2OU Instagram account. Since assisting with content creation, @Go2OU IG reels have seen a 450% reel viewership and an uptick in likes and engagement.


 
 

OU Athletics

Lindsey + Asp creates social media and digital content (remake of OU Rugby’s website) for OU Rugby Club, OU Baseball, OU mens and woman’s basketball, OU Gymnastics, and OU Marketing. The strategic communication plan Lindsey + Asp has is targeted to increase awareness among the OU student population. As well as increase awareness of potential players who go to OU or who are considering OU.

Dress For Success

Lindsey + Asp provides Dress for Success with creative services and design strategy. The agency also helps DFS get ready for their November Gala and their workshop day in October. Lindsey + Asp also spreads awareness for the events and gets participants excited for the prospective dates ahead, as well as, explores other goals the organization may come up with.

Specific deliverables include the creation of graphics, putting together a corporate video, and designing a program for the fall gala. Displayed is a video the Creative team members made.

L+A Rebrand

The L+A rebrand team is rebuilding the organization for the future of student advertising agencies. The team is worked with industry thought leaders to construct a youth trend reports focused on Gen Z is helping to transition this agency to become a hub of youth culture.

The L+A restructure team is building an agency for tomorrow as well as giving students real work experience that is also interesting and engaging.
